Q: Where can I purchase tickets? 

A: Tickets can be purchased online at thebasementnashville.com, or with no service fees at the Basement East box office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 12pm – 4pm.  All free shows are first come first serve. We are a TicketWeb exclusive venue and do not accept tickets from third party resellers such as StubHub, Vivid Seats, etc.

Q: Where can I park? 

A: The Basement East (Woodland St.): Parking is available across the street at Fireman’s Credit Union from 6PM-3AM. Please do not park in the East Station parking lot. All violators WILL BE TOWED. There is also legal street parking on McFerrin Ave. and 9th Street S., as well as pay-to-park lots around the venue. Please note: We have no affiliation with the pay-to-park lots and cannot help with any parking or payment issues on those lots. See a map.

A: The Basement (8th Avenue): Parking is available in front of The Basement (the rear of the building) and in the gravel strip next to dumpsters off of Alloway St. Legal street parking is also available on the surrounding streets. See a map.

Q: Do you have food?

A: Chivanada is on premise at The Basement East. Walk-up and online ordering are available during showtimes. Chivanada is a local food truck that serves Colombian empanadas and includes diet-friendly options, including an entirely gluten-free menu with vegetarian and vegan options. Q: How do I get to your venue?

A: Please check out our DIRECTIONS page for both venue addresses and Google maps. 

Q: How can I get a refund?

A: We do not offer refunds unless a show has been cancelled. 

Q: Are there seats available for shows?

A: Unless the show is advertised as seated, The Basement East is standing room and The Basement has limited first come, first serve seating. If you require a seat for medical reasons, do not hesitate to reach out to Phil  and we will be more than happy to provide one for you. We are ADA accessible at both venues.

Q: What’s your policy on photos/video/recording?

A: These policies change show to show and are at the discretion of our performers. Please refrain from flash photography/selfie sticks/go pros/ipads. If you are a professional photographer please contact artist management for a press pass. 

Q: Dress Code Rules / What can I bring in?

A:  All customers must be identifiable upon entry. Security staff must be able to easily match your appearance to your ID photo.
We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who cannot be easily identified or dressed in a manner deemed offensive or inappropriate.
No Weapons of any kind (real or fake)
No Props
No Mace
No Smoking (this includes vaping) *We allow smoking on our deck
No Outside Food or Beverage
No Illegal Drugs
No Professional Cameras (unless approved), GoPros, Selfie Sticks, iPads, etc.
No Backpacks
No Hula Hoops
No Confetti or Glitter

Q: Do you host private events? 

A: We are a music venue first, but do fit private events into our calendar at The Basement East during slow months. Please contact Phil for more information. 

Q: Is there a hotel near by? 

A: The Russell Hotel is a block away from The Basement East.  Use code BASEMENT10 for 10% off Sunday-Thursday with no expiration date. You may also use code BASEMENT10 for 10% off at The Gallatin hotel, located just a 5 minute drive away at 2510 Gallatin Ave.

Q: Age restrictions? 

A:  You can find age restrictions posted under the image on each ticket link. Age restrictions vary per show.   We do allow minors in with a parent or legal guardian. For 18+ or 21+ all patrons must have a valid government issues ID, no exceptions!
